What is Community Equity ?

Community Equity is a social value system for Online Communities. It was originally developed by Sun Microsystems Inc. as part of their internal social community platform called SunSpace. Community Equity has been open source in June 2009.

yes - Sun Microsystems ( Peter Reiser,Paul Diamond) filed a patent METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRACKING SOCIAL CAPITAL on February 14th 2008.
